Classes, Open Studio, and Special Events

Monday, May 11th to Thursday, July 2nd, 2026

 

As a non-profit art and education space in Cooperstown, New York, the Smithy Clay Studio offers affordable classes and studio access where kids and adults make their own pottery and art with clay! 


Please note the Open Studio schedule may have changed:

Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sat 1:30-4:30

Thur 6:30-9:30

 

Note: Clay Classes for Kids are on a short break and will begin again in July!

 

Payment Methods: Cash, Check, Credit or Debit Card

Note: PayPal is the vendor that we use to process credit and debit transactions. A PayPal account is not necessary to complete the registration process.

There is no fee for paying online with your credit card. However you may also select the option to pay later and bring a check or cash (exact change, please) to your first class.
