In this 6-week hybrid pottery wheel and hand-building class, you will learn the basics of clay building. The first three classes will focus primarily on coil and slab construction and the second three classes will focus on the use of the pottery wheel. You will learn simple yet effective techniques to control your clay and leave with the confidence to create multiple functional forms. The instructor will help you build, refine, and enhance your work. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn the basics of clay construction and then some. Each class is 4 hours.
