Wheel Workshop, Chalices for Feasts and Ceremonial Meals meets 4 times, August 11-13 with a glaze day on August 18th 9 AM to 12 PM
Chalice,
a word meaning ornate cup, is often thought of in the context of
religious ceremony. In fantasy, literature, and medieval folklore,
chalices are frequently used as symbols of power, magical artifacts, or
royal vessels.
We will be creating chalices of our own by throwing and altering forms. Ceremony meets function in this four class workshop.
