Exploring the Potter Wheel We will explore pottery on the wheel in this fun and inclusive 8-week class. Beginners will be introduced to clay and wheel-throwing techniques. Students will learn the technique of throwing, centering, and making cylinders, bowls, and mugs. We will move through the process of trimming, pulling & attaching handles, and glazing. Intermediate and advanced students will be guided through a technique of their choice: lidded vessels, plates, and platters, pitchers and spouts, closed forms, or planters. 8 Weeks | Monday | 6:00 - 9:00 pm May 6th - June 24th Ages: Adult Level: All levels welcome Instructor: Mairi Meehan Tuition: $280 includes a bag of clay Students should bring a old towel.
