Drop-in Open Studio (Single Session)

Open
studio time is perfect for makers who want to hone their skills in a
community setting, improve their technique, and create beautiful pieces.

Open studio is available to experienced potters and clay artists to work on personal projects or practice skills they are learning in classes. No instruction is provided, and each participant should be fully prepared to work independently.  Experienced adults only, please.

Participants should have experience with a variety of topics, including:

• Advanced hand-building techniques
• Advanced wheel
• Intermediate to advanced glazing and firing techniques
• Designing and creating your own pieces

Participants
should only use equipment and materials that they have been trained in.
Beginners must wait until topics are covered in their classes. 

Clay
is not included. Participants may purchase 25 lb bags of clay from the
studio for $35 each. Glazing and firing are included. 

For the sake of our kilns and other people's work, outside clay is not allowed.
